With 25 years of service as a high school and collegiate band director, I have considerable experience with athletic bands, including founding the thriving marching and basketball bands at North Central College. My experience comprises small/mid-sized high school (Hillsboro H.S.), large, suburban high school (West Clermont H.S.), small liberal arts college (North Central), and Division I/Power 5 Conference sate flagship (University of Oklahoma) programs.

Most recently, I founded and built the North Central College athletic band program, which includes the Cardinal Marching and Cardinal Basketball Band. The program has flourished since its inception and has become a treasured part of the college’s culture and a point of pride. The Cardinal Marching Band has performed at 4 NCAA Division III National Championship games and has been broadcast on local and national television and radio since its founding.
